Hi all,
While doing web automation when i use use application browser activity from my 24 inch monitor screen only a part of the right hand side of the web page is getting selected. When i checked my monitor display setting it is in recommend setting with a scale of 100% and display resolution 1920*1080.I am wondering is there any setting in ui path studio should i set it before using indicate screen??? I have attached screen shot of my issue.
Note: If I change display scale to 150% in monitor it is selecting whole screen but everything is way too big so after each activity during web automation i have to change it back default scale setting to 100%. Please help me to resolve this issue, Thanks
It is not that it is slecting only a part of the screen…but it is showing pr identifying the full screen without the scaling…it would be selecting fullscreen but visually only half is seen
If you use simulate activities you might not have any issue…but yea idicating might be a problem…so for indicating use 150 so that it is easy and if used simulate or send window messages then your automation should not effect
Thanks for the reply. Whether the indicate screen is selecting partial or full that is not the main issue. After indicating i could not use input activities like click on the indicated screen of the left side. I could only use on one partial side where it indicated earlier even after using simulate type as you suggested. So the only fix is scaling to 150 nothing else??
Hey, I know I am very late to this, but we just did an upgrade, which seemed to have brought this issue back up. I noticed we were a few versions back on our package versions, so after updating the UI Automation package (and the others just in case) the issue seemed to resolve itself.
