In which all scenarios does all the robots connected to the Orchestrator get disconnected at once and automatically connect again? (Other than server reboot)
Orchestrator Maintenance: All linked robots may momentarily lose connection during planned maintenance or updates to the Orchestrator server. The robots will automatically try to reconnect to the Orchestrator after the maintenance is finished.
Problems with Temporary Network Connectivity: The robots may disconnect if there are problems with the temporary network connectivity between them and the Orchestrator server. The robots will immediately try to re-establish their connection to the Orchestrator as soon as the network connection is restored.
Changes to the Orchestrator Configuration: Modifications to the Orchestrator configuration or settings may cause all linked robots to disengage. Temporary disconnections may result from alterations made to security configurations or authentication settings, for instance.
Thanks Pallavi. We have observed that even though there is no reboot or any other activities from our side, all bots get disconnected every other day around midnight, none this seems to fit our scenario. I didn’t see any specific items in the eventlogs either. Any suggestions?
Not that it is a serious concern at this point, but would like to understand what is happening.
Event logs on Windows:
Check the Windows Event Logs on the devices hosting the bots and the Orchestrator server. Examine any faults or pertinent entries that occur at the same time as the disconnect events.
Proxy Server Configuration:
Verify that no proxy server configurations are interfering with communication. Proxy settings can occasionally affect how connected automation processes are.
I checked the event logs already, I couldn’t find anything within that timeframe which is common every alternate day. I can verify again.
Proxy, I am not sure. Is it possible that proxy interfering communication every alternate day at same time? Anyways I will verify that with someone from IT.
Yes, Please check with the IT Team and let me know what happens. Thanks!
