In Latest version I'm not able to see Add to Source Control Option

Hi All,

In Latest Studio 2026.0.182 STS Community version. I’m not able to find option to commit my code to Version Control System (Github).

1. Earlier in Home>Team tab exists below Templates option which is not coming now.
   
   
2. Add to Source Control Option present below right hand side beside Orchestrator connection.
3. Also in Project Settings below Import files tab Add to Source Control Option present earlier which is not coming now.

Can Someone please let me know where Add to Source Control > Git Init Option Moved now in Latest version of UiPath Studio ?

Hi @rajigoutam532 ,

The Team tab is shown only when Git is installed and detected for the current user.

Even on the same UiPath Studio version, users may not see it due to Git not installed, not in PATH, different installation mode (user vs machine), or permission/profile differences.

That’s incorrect. It’s visible always.

@rajigoutam532 , try reinstallation the studio.

Yes, I agree. The option is visible all the time, even before replying to the thread. I checked the same in my Studio as well.

That’s why I suggested an alternative workaround. However, if the issue is resolved with a simple reinstallation, then that’s definitely great.

Hi,

I tried to installing Github Desktop and Uninstalled and Reinstalled UiPath Studio, as suggested above. But still I can’t see any option to use version control system in my Studio.

is option to add our code into source control is limited for enterprise lisence after these new version updates?

I’m using Community version 2026.0.182 of UiPath Studio. can someone please tell why this option isn’t coming for me?

I dont think any change of that sort is present. Please review your LLM answer before posting to avoid any confusion

The option is present for community license as well.. looks like you disabled git or defaulted to disabled

enable source control like below tools → Plug ins → Enable GIT SVN etc → Restart studio you should see the options

I just checked on the latest community version - 2026.0.182 STS it’s as expected. It is there.
