How to resolve the error 500 is displayed post installing Orchestrator and no errors are present in the Event Viewer?
Error Description: Default install of Orchestrator opens with a Login 500 error but without logging any error in Event Viewer.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Open site web.config and locate the following section:
- Modify the first line errorMode=”Custom” to “Detailed“ (ie: )
- Reset and reload site
- One possible error might be as following,
Resolution:
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config and edit it
- Search for setting : and modify it to Allow (ie: )
- Reset IIS and reload site.
