IE works better for automation and UiPath. Now that it is almost gone, which browser should we use instead having in mind the Edge extension is barely working?

I personally used IE for automation.

Now that Microsoft is decommissioning it, what should we use?

Chrome? Edge?

A lot of people have problems with Edge extension. It is basically not working properly.

With Chrome extension also. I remember issues with it in the past, however I have not tried yet.

Any official response from UiPath on this?

I personally use Chrome for most web automation, I used to have problems with it a while back, but I made the switch around June this year and it seems to be working better than before. Iā€™m sure the edge extension will get better over time as well if you want to continue to use IE for the meantime and postpone the switch until later.
