I need to identify the selector of the cell in the table but selector is not coming

I need to identify the selector of the cell in the table but selector is not coming. based on that i need to fill the data in it.

@Rishika_Sharma

This looks like a desktop application. Try using Ui Explorer to find and refine the selectors.
I think you will have to use anchor to category to identify the respective column selectors.

i tried but not working.

Hi @Rishika_Sharma

Try and change the UI Framework when indicating your selector.
If you are on older versions of UiPath Studio perhaps you need to change it manually.

Active Accessibility could be an option to test.

i tried this also, its not working.

Can you elaboate a bit on what you are experiencing.

  • Is the selector targeting a larger element than anticipated
  • Is the application not being targeted at all
  • Is the entire table being targeted
  • Something else?

entire table is getting targeted instead of any one cell.

Maybe it’s necessary to approach it from a different angle.
Im curious what the button shown below does - maybe exports the table?
If so, perhaps you can use this to identify the cell.
And then Send Hotkey to tab your way through the table in the UI till you hit the cell…

Long shot I know..

@Rishika_Sharma If UiPath cannot identify an individual table cell selector, try these approaches:

Use UI Explorer and check whether tableRow and tableCol attributes are available.
For a web table, use TR/TD or tableRow/tableCol to target a specific cell.
If the row changes dynamically, create a dynamic selector using a variable such as the row number or cell text.
If the application exposes only the complete table, use anchors, keyboard navigation (Tab/Down), or extract the table data and locate the required row programmatically

Depending on how consistent the page is sending hot keys is usually a good way to get by selectors. pressing tabs and enter may be able to get you there.

Also depending on how consistent the application is, you can use the UI click activity and base it fully on screen position so it will click the same spot every time.
