I need a data type which can hold multiple different data types

You have a terrible attitude Paul. I’m done arguing with you.

UiPath is on a hugely fast trajectory and its important people know whats possible, even if they aren’t currently on a version that supports a feature its important to know whats ahead and your attitude is very detrimental and distracting to that progress, I want you to stop and go away.
Its totally logical to start with the latest and best way to solve a problem and fall back to an older method if they cannot yet do it rather than your backwards approach of assuming they are not capable or able to and aiming for the lowest. Please improve your attitude and try to be constructive, you can phrase it easily as saying ‘this is an option if coded workflows aren’t available’ but you don’t.

@postwick @Jon_Smith I want to thank you both for your passion and dedication to this topic, as well as for helping others stay informed about the latest developments while reinforcing a strong foundation in UiPath. :hugs:

Hi @lomasd12,

Were you able to move forward with your project or do you still need assistance?

If you still need assistance, can you elaborate on your scenario and why you are trying to hold multiple different data types in a single reference variable please?

For example, are you trying to work with a data structure similar to the Specific Data returned from a Queue Item and need to convert those Objects returned within the Dictionary to their actual data types?

Or as another example, are you trying work with a data structure has multiple attributes with various data types that you want to retrieve by referencing a single variable?

There is a lot of good discussion above and learning exactly what you are trying to accomplish would help to narrow down the suggestions provided.

Thanks
