I have 25-30 unattended Bot licenses in the Orchestrator, there are 6 Modern folders for three different clients, I want to allocate the Bot dynamically based upon workload or pending jobs, Is there a way to do it?

So basically, I have few clients using the orchestrator as a Shared Orchestrator. We have allotted equal number of Unattended Robot License to each client and the clients are segregated from each other folders.

Sometimes, X Client has no jobs pending and hence all the Robots allotted are idle, whereas a Client Y has many jobs pending and all the robots with him are busy, is there a way to dynamically allocate the bots between the folders, so that the idle Bot’s with Folder X of Client X can be utilized by Folder Y of Client Y?

Please let me know if it’s possible and how ?

Hi @Akey,

Just thinking:

I’m presuming that your Robots are using interactive sign-in to connect to Orchestrator. If so, you have to un-assign the attended/unattended Robot assignments to Robot_LoginX (in Folder X) and then reassign them over to RobotLogin_Y in Folder Y.

Even if you somehow managed this (one possible way is hinted below, and I hope it isn’t an overkill ), I was wondering how you would have the Robot machines disconnect/reconnect to the Orchestrator to adapt to ever changing load requirements between ClientX ,ClientY, etc.
