Hi @vhvinodsai
UiPath may have auto-updated to the 2026 preview version in the background.
- Uninstall UiPath
- Reinstall 2024.10.4 explicitly
- During install, disable auto-update / preview channel
- Restart and verify version in Studio → Help → About

Hi @vhvinodsai,
Orchestrator tenant-level Update Policy (Tenant > Update Policies) likely set to “Latest version”, overriding local auto-update disables. Affects select licenses/machines selectively.
Complete Uninstall:
- Control Panel: Remove Studio, Robot, Assistant, Update Agent
- Delete: C:Program FilesUiPath, C:ProgramDataUiPath, %APPDATA%UiPath
Block Updates:
- Services.msc: Disable "UiPath Update Service"
- Task Scheduler: Disable "UiPath Update Service Agent"
Install 2024.10.4:
- Download EXACT 2024.10.4 MSI from Orchestrator Downloads
- Custom install → Stable channel → Disable preview/auto-update
Admin Action: Set Orchestrator Update Policy to “None” or “2024.10.4”
Verify: Studio → Help → About shows 2024.10.4
confirm tenant policy.
Enterprise versions of the studio don’t get updated automatically until and unless specified in Ops policy or somewhere.
Check the event logs on the server who initiated the upgrade.
@loginerror, is it possible force update enterprise version?
