Use Case Description

Accurate and efficient reporting of accidents is crucial for ensuring prompt response and appropriate assistance in emergency situations. However, existing accident reporting systems suffer from various challenges and limitations, leading to inefficiencies and delays in incident management.
The Rescue Dispatch System use case enables the reporting and management of emergencies in a structured and efficient manner.
This use case aims to streamline the communication and response system when dealing with emergencies such as accidents, medical emergencies, or criminal activities. Such incidents often require swift action from emergency units.
The solution makes use of the UiPath Cloud Automation platform to enable the public to report emergency incidents via UiPath apps. The app utilizes Machine Learning to classify emergency scenarios, the Machine Learning Package is built using UiPath’s OOTB MultiLabelTextClassification model trained with a “Disaster Response Messages” dataset. To provide a safeguard against the limitations of Machine Learning, the Action Centre is used to allow for manual intervention by the disaster response team. In scenarios where the Machine Learning model fails to classify the incident into an emergency type, or should the incident be deemed as a non-emergency, the case will be pushed to the action center for human intervention. This system allows the bot to handle a high volume of incident reporting in the case of disasters.
Finally, with the integration of the Google Cloud Platform, the system can inform the app user of the Estimated Time of Arrival of the dispatched response unit.
