How to use the custom fields and use it in the calculation of Insights Business ROI dashboard?
Scenario: In order to get better insights about the performance of the Robot processes, sometimes it is necessary to create custom fields and use the calculation in the Insights ROI dashboard. But how to create it and use it in the formula of the calculations?
Resolution:
- To create new custom fields, click the 'Configure ROI dataset' to the dataset configuration page. In the tenant level, it is possible to create new fields by click the 'add' button on the top right of the fields sheet. Post the field name input and click 'save' the new fields will get created. It is possible to set value for processes or queues.
- Go into the dashboard and explore the tile in the ROI dashboard. In the 'custom fields' section, click the 'add' button and choose 'custom measure', the following pop-up will show up. Choose the custom field created in 'Field to measure', make the 'Measure type' as 'Max', give it a name and then it.
- In the formula of calculation, select the new customer measure and use the fields which is in format '${ xxx}'.
