Hey, one of my friend accidently created UiPath account with standard plan instead of Community edition , so now due to license issue they are not able to access many components in studio and orchestrator . how anyone can you help how to switch to community edition
You can delete the Organization and create new should give you the Community access.
@ashokkarale can you guide me how to delete organization
@ashokkarale then how can we create new organization with community edition
Once Org deleted, you will be asked to create the organization again which will create with the Community license by default.
Okey! This is an update for me as well..So last option you have is just use another email id to signup.
Also, Standard Trail Plan will have all the features you would require to learn and it’s superior than the Community plan.
@ashokkarale but with standard plan i don’t have access to use Test Automation framework in UiPath Studio
It is available for me. You might not have enabled/added from Services.
Go to Admin ->Tenant you have ->Services → Click on Add Services → Select Test Manager and save. After reload you should have Test Manager access.
Any error do you get?
@ashokkarale
Yes getting error like need to upgrade your license
This is strange @Pedasingu_Monalisa.
@loginerror could you please clarify here if the Standard trial can use Test Automation Framework or not?
@ashokkarale
No I am not able to use Test Automation Framework
I believe the Standard Plan doesn’t include various features such as the Test Manager, Insights, Process Mining etc.
I believe that Test Automation Framework might be requiring a connection to Test Manager and so on the Standard plan it cannot work.
For evaluation purposes or learning purposes, you can use Community edition, but if you want to do this Commercially, then the standard plan isn’t enough.
There is an enterprise plan for around $50,000 a year that includes Test Manager and RPA capabilities.
There is also Test Cloud, which is only for testing, I am not sure about the licencing and pricing there to be honest, but that should be cheaper if you only want Test Manager?
Whats your use case? Maybe we can try to advice on the best product to purchase?
Hey @Jon_Smith
I have created UiPath account but it got created with Standard plan license by default. I want to switch to Community edition , but dont have any assistance like how to do. Could you please help me out .
My use case is not for Commercial purpose so i want to go with community edition.
I think now that you started any standard track with that email you cannot switch down to community.
You have to use a new email account or contact their support to request they do something on their end.
I think there is some sort of tracking of email accounts to make sure people aren’t switching and mis-using a community account perhaps.
