How to setup Java Extension for custom JRE?

If  the target application that needs to be automated is using custom JRE, then follow the below steps in order to setup the UiPath Java extension correctly: 
 

  1. Copy the below files which are located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\Studio\UiPath\JavaSupport directory
    • accessibility.properties
    • bin/UiPathJavaBridgeV8.dll (for 32-bit setup) or bin/UiPathJavaBridgeV8_x64.dll (for 64-bit setup)
    • UiPathBridge.jar
  2. Paste the file in the Custom JRE location inside the folders as mentioned below: [Custom JRE location can be identified by Process Explorer, as described here .
    • lib/ext/UiPathBridge.jar
    • lib/accessibility.properties
    • bin/UiPathJavaBridgeV8.dll (for 32-bit setup) or bin/UiPathJavaBridgeV8_x64.dll (for 64-bit setup)
  3. Restart the Java application and the UiPath Studio.

Alternatively, If there are multiple custom JRE locations, the ScreenScrapeJavaSupport tool can be used to install the Java extension by placing the above-listed files in the corresponding custom location.
