How to select a column(<td></td>) and click a link(<a href="#">link</a>) of a row(<td></td>) in table of webpage
Any chance to show me now?
or upload one that i can view.
Thanks so much. I will let you know.
I’m still struggling on this one. Let me explain what i’m trying to do. I have an email that is going to come in and off the email i’m going to get a Dollar Amount. When i get the Dollar amount I’m going to go to a web site and i need to find the dollar amount and then click on the link in the next column to download. I feel like this should work but still struggling.
which phase do you fail?
- I have an email that is going to come in and off the email i’m going to get a Dollar Amount.
- When i get the Dollar amount
- I’m going to go to a web site
- and i need to find the dollar amount
- and then click on the link in the next column to download.
We’ve done a work around but this is something i still would like to figure out how to do.
#5 is what it is not doing.
Can you show me the screenshot around you want to click the link, or html source code?
I think everyone watching this thread can not imagine what you really want, because
you provided information enough.
I guess you might use “Anchor Base” activity to capture “the dollar amount” column,
and then click the link you want.
I would like to be your help, because I have been helped a lot in this forum
I will send you a screenshot later this morning.
Sorry for the delay.
So here is a screen shot of part of the website. . .
So from the email we will capture the AMount and look that up and then we need to select the green down arrow. Does this help?
Is that green down arrow a image like gif, png, or jpeg ?
If that green down arrow is
1) a image, that html source code be like “<a href=”/somewhere"><img src=“greendownallow.gif” /></a>",
2) a href link(it might be css image background-image used link), that html source code be like “<a href=”/somewhere"></a>".
You can find the click activity named “Click the 2nd link in a row” in the sample “20.xml”, and
In that properties,
you need to set “Selector”,
tr.FindFirst(FindScope.FIND_DESCENDANTS,new Selector("<webctrl tag=‘IMG’ />"))
tr.FindFirst(FindScope.FIND_DESCENDANTS,new Selector("<webctrl tag=‘A’ />"))
I would like to see that html source code, so I can be your help more.
hope it helps,
Sounds great. I am out of office until Monday.
I am getting error as selector not found
I want to click on request Id, do some operation, and then another row.
