Few points to note while creating custom variables:

The Configure Custom Variables page is only available for Admins from the three-dot menu on the upper right corner of Insights page.

Making sure that the custom data from logs is added
→ To include custom variables for processes, make sure the logs are added to the automation processes by using the Add Log Fields activity.
→ To include custom variables for queues, make sure they are added in the workflows using the right activities: Add Queue Item for Specific Data, and Set Transaction Status for Output Data and Analytics Data.
