How to record new Web Actions inside an already saved Web Recording?

This is probably the most noob question ever… but still, I am struggling.

So I recorded a whole long web sequence. But I noticed the ending of it was not working and anyway, there was another sequence of events in the end that would work better.

So I deleted like ten tasks.

And I want to record new individual actions inside the previous web recording.

But no matter what I do, even if I browse inside the web activity, inside the “DOs” sequence, when I click RECORD>WEB, after I do all actions and save, instead of recording those web actions inside the previous Web Activity, it creates a NEW web activity.

Any idea?

Hi @Rogerio_Penna,

  • Copy/Cut the new recorded sequence.
  • Paste that sequence where ever you require.

What @Vivek_Arunagiri mentioned should work.
I usually make a test file to record the sequence, this way you can test your new recording as well without interfering with the rest of the work flow. Once it works like you planned, cut/paste it into the existing workflow.

Imho, They should make it so it gets inserted where you selected it :slight_smile:
