Use open browser or use application/browser activity and pass the html file path…

Then it open in browser…now use a table extraction to get the data into datatable…

Now you can use write range to write the data to excel

Cheers

For Table extraction which activity should i use

@Ajij_Mujawar

On top of the studio …you see design panel under that you have a table extraction option…you can use that…

It automatically creates extraction activity with the extract table data activity …

Cheers

html file contains this type of data it can not extract using data scrapping/table extraction.
i just want to open this file in Microsoft excel

@Ajij_Mujawar

Isn’t it a table?

Manually are you able to import properly?

I check importing the file you attached but it does not take as table…I feel the html is malformed

cheers

Sample attachment we have to open this file from Ms Excel. and save it

@Ajij_Mujawar

When I Open this is how it shows in excel

cheers

Can you pls try this one

CII_GIT_Report_130323.html (4.8 KB)

we would recommend to process the file directly as it has schema of e.g. :office:spreadsheet

here we can check following options:

  • html/xml parsing and processing
  • XML Stylesheet transformations to bring it within tabular data

not far away an example of xml spreadsheet processing:

@Ajij_Mujawar

Here is how its loaded

PepProcess - Copy.zip (17.5 KB)

Here is a sample xaml and vba code for doing this

cheers

Hi Anil,
Thanks for response its loaded correctly.
can you help the error is coming

@Ajij_Mujawar

Can you show what you gave?

actually are you trying to orderby and then take only few rows?

cheers

dt.AsEnumerable.OrderByDescending(function(x) CDBL(x(“Close/Last”).ToString.Replace(“$”,“”))).Take(5).CopyToDataTable

@Ajij_Mujawar

I don’t see nay issue in the formula…

Can you try closing and reopening the xaml and rename the project.json before opening…and remove the assign activity before closing…and then add it back after you open

cheers
