How to keep formatting when adding data table to slide?

Hi,

I am trying to paste data from an excel table into a PPT table. However, there is no option in studio x to keep the formatting as the excel file. Any way I can paste using the excel format into the PPT table? Thanks

The way to achieve this (also requires the newest version of the Presentations package) is (this does require you to know the number of columns) is insert a placeholder table with at least one row that has all of the formatting/styling you desire (e.g. column widths, font size, row height, etc.) then on the newest version of “Add Data Table to Slide” you can select the existing table and choose “Overwrite existing data” and it will inherit all of the formatting you have set while creating all of the required new rows (it will not create new columns, which is why you need know the number at design time).
