Hi,is free studioX community plan(not enterprise) is still available in 2026?Whats the correct installer to download the studioX ?My account shows ‘automation developer’ &I got installed the UiPath studio app but couldnt see any studioX profile, or switch account.seen many videos, notes nothing works,I am a beginner & to start with StudioX-free plan. Kindly help,Thank you.
@Maarzi_ana Hi, in UiPath Studio 2025.10+ you won’t see a separate StudioX profile anymore. StudioX capabilities are now integrated into Studio
Steps:
- Install/open the latest UiPath Studio Community Edition.
- Sign in with your UiPath Community account.
- Open Studio → Start → Task
- Create a Task project — this is the current StudioX-style experience
So your Automation Developer installation is fine; no separate StudioX installer or profile is required. Older videos showing “Change Profile → StudioX” are for previous versions
Hi @Maarzi_ana,
This was the new update in December 2024, StudioX capabilities into Studio. You can now create a StudioX Task directly from Studio without having to switch profiles.
Simply navigate to the Templates and search for the Task which will enable you to create a StudioX workflow. You can take advantage of Project Notebook and other StudioX capabilities. With this change, you can also consume StudioX templates.
Here are couple of references:
Cheers!
Welcome to the community
Now studio and studiox are same
Also if you are community then you would get a developer license for studio free for personal use
Cheers
Hi @Maarzi_ana ,
Try these steps once:
- Download the standard UiPath Studio Community installer from UiPath Community.
- If your account shows “Automation Developer”, that’s expected. StudioX capabilities are now included within the Studio experience rather than requiring a separate StudioX installation.
- If you don’t see a profile switcher, that’s normal in newer releases. UiPath has simplified the profiles/UI compared to older videos and tutorials.
- Make sure you’re signed in with a Community account, not an Enterprise-managed organization that may restrict features.
- Create a new project and look for business-user-friendly activities/templates. Most StudioX functionality is available through the modern experience.
Thanks
Hi @Maarzi_ana
Yes, UiPath Community (free) is still available in 2026.
- You don’t need a separate StudioX installer.
- Your Automation Developer profile is correct.
- In the latest UiPath Studio, StudioX is integrated into Studio, so you may not see a “StudioX” profile/switch option.
- For the StudioX-style experience, create a Task project in UiPath Studio.
- Many YouTube videos showing “Change Profile → StudioX” are based on older versions.
So, keep your current UiPath Studio installation and start with a Task project.
Thank you guys for all the information. It works.
