Hi @ashokkarale

Thnaks, I tried this approach but this is not giving the accurate results, but when i synch the sharepoint list with the outlook calender, i can see the events in outlook which is under the Other Calendars, but when i am trying in UiPath to fetch the events from this Other Calenders it is greyed out as shown below

Hello adarsh,
The behavior you’re seeing is expected in many cases with recurring SharePoint Calendar events.

For recurring events, the SharePoint activities/API may not always return the occurrence time exactly as it appears in the SharePoint Calendar UI. The returned values can be:

  • Stored in UTC and require conversion to the site’s or user’s time zone.

To retrieve the exact start and end time (for example, 8:00 PM–11:00 PM), you should:

  1. Verify whether the returned EventDate and EndDate values are in UTC and convert them to the appropriate time zone.
  2. If it’s a recurring event, query the individual occurrence instead of only the recurring master event, as the master item may not contain the expanded occurrence timings.
  3. Check the SharePoint site’s regional settings and the user’s time zone to ensure the displayed time matches the stored values.

Could you also share:

How you’re fetching the calendar events (SharePoint Activities, REST API, Microsoft Graph, CSOM, Power Automate, etc.)?and Which fields are being returned (EventDate, EndDate, RecurrenceData, etc.)?

That will help determine why the occurrence time differs from what is displayed in the SharePoint Calendar.

Hi @Ruhi_Sayyad ,

Thanks for the info, i am using the share point get list items as shown below

Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

The Get List Items activity retrieves the list items directly from the SharePoint Calendar list. For recurring events, it typically returns the recurring master item rather than the expanded occurrence, which is why the EventDate and EndDate may not match the timings shown in the SharePoint Calendar.

Could you please check if the item has fRecurrence = True or contains a value in the RecurrenceData field? If so, this confirms you’re retrieving the recurring series instead of the individual occurrence.

To get the exact occurrence timings (e.g., 8:00 PM–11:00 PM), you may need to use the SharePoint Calendar REST API (such as RenderListDataAsStream or a CAML query that expands recurring events), since the Get List Items activity doesn’t expand recurring events by default.

@adarsh_kotagiri

could you share some more examples like what’s on the SharePoint and what you are getting?
