How to extract a value on the left side of the variable

I want to take the first sentence that REGEX answered and cancel the points (:).

Sorry, now I am really confused of what you really want. The regular expression I provided you will only extract the number after “שמספרו”. It won’t extract “:” or any other characters.

True I know,
But in my sentence, there is no colon ( after the word “שמספרו”
So I want to know how I cancel it
You rock! Thanks

ExtractNumberRegEx (2).xaml (7.0 KB)
Can you tell me why the second part of the exercise does not work?
Thanks

The regular expression doesn’t care if there’s a “:” after “number” or not. [: ]+ means match one or more of either space or colon. So it will match both “Number 123” and “Number: 123”

OK great!!!
and about this:
ExtractNumberRegEx (2).xaml (7.0 KB)
Can you tell me why the second part of the exercise does not work?
Thanks

The input string has not been assigned correctly. It should be Inputnum = " 1 83811 "
