How to enable the auto-update for Enterprise Edition

I want to know is it possible to enable the auto-update for Enterprise Edition that had been automatically turned OFF?

The Enterprise edition does not auto-update by design. Otherwise a lot of companies would get upset :sweat_smile:

Only the Community Edition offers auto-update (which is then, in fact, mandatory)

Hi,
Is that mean that the Enterprise Edition does not have auto-update feature?
So that the Enterprise Edition version can be synchronize with the Community Edition version.
If cannot, then I guess it will be a problem if we want to import the robot from Community Edition into Enterprise Edition.
Or is there any solution to it?

Indeed, if you develop a process in Community Edition 2019.7, it will most likely not work on an older version of Studio Enterprise (current stable is 2019.4.4).

However, I believe that our customers can sign up for the Insider’s preview of the Enterprise edition:

You would then receive an installer of the latest Enterprise edition if you really want to stay up-to-date :slight_smile:

I forgot to ask you, is it same for the UiPath Orchestrator? The Orchestrator for Community Edition and the Enterprise Edition.
If I develop the process in Community Edition 2019.7 and try to deploy the process in the Orchestrator Enterprise Edition 2018.4.3. Is it work?

It will be the same scenario, because we are assuming that the entire environment is on 2018.4.3 (Studio, Robot and Orchestrator). So even if you manage to publish your project from Studio 2019.7 to Orchestrator 2018.4.3 (which I think might already not work), then afterwards you won’t be able to schedule it because Robot 2018.4.3 will not understand the newer process.

Oh okay, thank you. May I ask if I use a trial version of Enterprise Edition 2018.4.3, can I create the process as good as the full license one? Is there any limitation for the trial version for the Enterprise Edition that will effect the process if I publish it into the full license version of the same Enterprise Edition 2018.4.3? And also is it possible to get the installer for the trial version for the Enterprise Edition?

The answer is no. There are no limitations within the Trial version, it’s basically a full thing minus the time limitation.
