Hi Everyone,
I am working with UiPath Studio Web / Solutions and have created a Solution that contains two separate Apps.
The structure is:
Project File
│
├── App
│ └── SubmitterHomePage
│
└── App 1
└── Reporting
As shown in the attached screenshot, both Apps are available under the same Solution.
My requirement is to keep these as two separate Apps within the same Solution.
I have the following questions:
Is it possible to have multiple independent Apps within a single UiPath Solution?
How can I debug/preview each App separately when both Apps are part of the same Solution?
Is there a way to navigate from one App to another App within the same Solution?
If I have an existing App and want to import it separately into the Solution, what is the recommended approach?
Can both Apps be maintained independently while still being part of the same Solution?
Is there a recommended architecture for a Solution containing multiple Apps?
I am able to see both Apps in the Solution Explorer, but I am not clear on the correct way to run/debug and navigate between the two Apps.
Yes, multiple independent Apps can be part of the same UiPath Solution.
Each App can be opened, tested, and maintained separately from the Solution Explorer. You can also keep both Apps independent while sharing common components/resources through the Solution.
For your case, keeping SubmitterHomePage and Reporting as separate Apps under the same Solution is a good approach. If you already have an existing App, add/import it as a separate App into the Solution rather than merging it with the existing one.
For navigation between Apps, you can use links/navigation where supported, but they remain separate Apps.
