How to create an item in SharePoint List using HTTP POST method

I got items of SharePoint List using HTTP GET Method in Json format using POSTMAN. But I couldn’t Create an item in SharePoint List using HTTP POST Method using POSTMAN. It shows error like “connecting to URL”. Please help me to create an item in SharePoint List.
