How to count the total amount of commands in a workflow

Hello,

I recently wrote a paper about the time effort of migrating from Automation Anywhere to UiPath. One of the influencing variables was the amount of commands in each AA process. It’s fairly easy to figure out the amount of commands in Automation Anywhere, since you can simply export the whole process as XML and can then count them.
Is there a way to do this for a UiPath process/workflow?

You can also export each workflow to Excel file, using excel functions and filter to show only activities

  • number, decimal point, number(s), space and activity label (activity name)
  • count the results

Note: there are few exceptions but once you figure it out, you just need to include it into your calculations.
