How to configure UiPath add-in for Salesforce app?
Follow the below steps for configuring UiPath add-in for Salesforce app :-
- Register External application in Orchestrator - Salesforce - Set Up Named Credentials (Step 1). Make sure to use OR.Execution OR.Folders OR.Jobs OR.Machines OR.Queues OR.Robots as scope.
- Install UiPath add in in salesforce by providing https:///packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t1U000007kOva&isdtp=p1 (This is for add-in version 1.16)
- Register the UiPath Orchestrator site under remote site settings in salesforce - Salesforce - Register Your UiPath Orchestrator Site
- Add the user to UiPath Administrator permission set - Salesforce - Register Your UiPath Orchestrator Site
- Add a new auth provider in salesforce under Setup -> Identity -> Auth Providers - Salesforce - Set Up Named Credentials (Step 2)
- Update callback URL in Orchestrator -> External application set up - Salesforce - Set Up Named Credentials (Step 3)
- Named credentials setup - Salesforce - Set Up Named Credentials (Step 4)
- Create a connection in salesforce - Salesforce - Connection Settings
- In case the connection goes into "pending" status, there might be some minute misconfiguration like spelling mistake, casing issues etc. It is advisable to delete all the objects already created in salesforce, uninstall the salesforce add in and start fresh.
Note: Be cautious while following each and every step mentioned above as minute mistakes can make the connection fail.
