How to change the contents of each individual email based on information obtained from excel file

Hello team,
I am a newbie and I need your help.

Here is what I am able to do:

  1. Open the excel file. Apply the filter. Get the email addresses (say 10 of them) with the new filtered excel file.
  2. Open the web browser, type into google. gmail.com and click compose.
  3. Send out 10 messages to these 10 email addresses individually.

Here is what I want to accomplish:

  1. I want to address the person by the first name within the Body of each email.
    For instance, for email address jason.mckay@company.com, from the excel file, I am able to extract this person last name and first name.
  2. In the body of this email, I want to address this person as:
    Dear Jason,
    …
  3. The similar assignment should work for the other 9 emails.

Read excel and keep it in a table.

Loop it and while sending the mail, in mail body pass the index of column which contains name inside row. Item(index). Tostring

Like below

Mailbody = "dear "+row. Item(columnindex). Tostring

I guess it will solve your problem

read excel in dt datable and use foreach in datable and under each iteration pass email activity and iterate in the below manner

"Dear “+row.Item(“firstName”)+” "+ row.Item(“LastName”)
