I just installed UiPathStudioCommunity. By default it opens in StudioX configuration. I can’t switch to Studio because License and profile menu is not available in Settings tab. I tried to reinstall the product. I also created new organization. I even created new account with different email address. Neither of these changed had any effect. Still can’t use the product in Studio mode. Please help.

Normally

->On the start page of UiPath Studio, locate and select the Settings option.
→ Navigate to License and Profile.
→ Choose View or Change Profile to proceed.

In your case make sure that in your Organization in Cloud, you are added your user in the Automation Developer - Named User license group

Go to orchestrator admin ->Accounts and local group ->User account ->select user and modify → tick Automation Developer - Named User license

With Automation Developer - Named User you will have these software capabilities:

Action Center
Apps
Attended Robot
Computer Vision
Data Service
Integration Service
Studio
StudioX
Task Capture
Test Manager User

With Automation Express you can’t use Studio.

Make sure you assign Automation Developer - Named User license to your user id.

Follow this path to check and update license.

Navigate to Orchestrator → Admin → Org -->Licenses -->License Allocations to Users

Click on Edit license allocation

Select Automation Developer - Named User and click on Save button.

Once allocated the license, sign out from the Studio and re login. You should get the Studio now.

Navigate to Admin panel and check what license do you have.

If you are on Free license, you will have to upgrade it to at least Community or Pro Trial.
