i am getting this warning message in UiPath for element exist activity if element not present how to ignore or Remove i.e I dont want to see warning log if its not exists.
Hey @victoryv4569 this is not a warning message .this is an error related to your selector . and kindly debug your process i don’t think this exception related to element exists activity. because element exists create boolean variable which goes in the then or else branch so might be in the if section your are using any activity which giving you that cause.
You can not, there are feedback topics already requesting these logs to be optional. I suggest you add your voice to that topic and vote for it rather than starting a ‘help’ topic. The feedback section makes sense for this.
@victoryv4569 then better to work with element exists activity . it will create a boolean variable which you can use in the IF condition and make the decision on that basis.
Using a worse activity in order to avoid a log message doesn’t seem like a very good strategy. Check App State is far superior to Element Exists. Also, Check App State wouldn’t give an error message of “could not find the UI element” - you were correct the first time that what they are showing is not a warning, it’s an error coming from an activity trying to identify that element.
Absolutely agree, resorting back to using classic activities means you cannot use things like the Object Repository and I think is really not worth it to avoid this warning message.
The topic I linked even indicated the warnings were removed, however there seems to be differing experiences on this.
