How to automate task using RDP?

Dear Team,

I have a task to automate, please find it below points.

1. log in to the machine using Remote Desktop Protocol
2. Go to the computer management (on RDP machine)
**3. Click on local users **
4. Enter all the require data and create a user

I’m able to do point 1.

How can we automate the points from 2 to 4?

I tried with image recording but it’s not giving the accurate output. It is not following the proper click on the image.

I have installed the Citrix Extention on the RDP machine but it’s giving the following error. (Is it right to install it on the RDP machine?)

Cannot automate remote app: UiPathRemoteRuntime.exe is not running in the remote session.

Kindly help me to solve this issue?

Try to install the UiPath Remote Runtime as explained in this link.

You need to obtain the UiPathRemoteRuntime.msi by contacting the support team and then install it on the RDP machine you want to automate.

On the machine that you will be running or building the automation you will also need to install the Microsoft Remote Desktop and Apps Extension that you will find under tools.
