How long does it take for permission changes in roles to become effective?

How long should I wait after granting or removing permissions from the “robot” role in the orchestrator?

Specifically, if I add the “EDIT ASSET” permission to the default “robot” role, how long does it take before the permissions are effective and I can begin testing?

Is there a proactive action I can take i.e. bouncing the robot services on the robots?

I think permission changes are effective immediately.

I always see that there is some delay between changing a user’s permission and when it becomes affective for that user. I suspect something is cached in the user’s browser and it has time out or be refreshed. I usually tell them to log out, close the browser. If it’s still not applied, I have them delete their cache.
