How does Uipath deal with browser updates?

Hi, what happens if there is a major update to the browser, does that mean that there is a chance of things breaking ? Out of 3 browsers that we can use what’s the best one to use for stability ? I personally do everything with Chrome, but not sure if that’s the correct thing to do.

Hi Gary,

Indeed there is, unfortunately. As far as I know that was the main reason Firefox support was dropped for some time.

I also use Chrome a lot and the safest way is to disable updates on Prod, test first → then update only. There were some moments when a major update broke the plugin for Chrome.

Safest is I’d say IE, as it uses native functionality instead of an external plugin.
