Just a variable name. It’s good practice to follow some naming standards.
@siddharth Yes it did solve the 91 records problem, may I ask what did you do to make it retrieve it as an empty ?
I made use of string variables, which by default hold an empty string “” and not null.
Hello @Jovian_Low,
Try this:
- (?<=Module Code:\s).*(?=$)
- (?<=Module Name:\s).*(?=$)

There are more options like using methods like Regex.Replace , String.Replace, String.Substring…

There’s something in regex which is known as lookbehind. Here, you’ll make use of positive lookbehind (?<=“Module Code:\s”) and replace the constant string “Module Code:” you’re using in your regex with it. That should do the trick
@siddharth This is my current regex: “(?<=“Module Code:\s”)[A-Za-z]{2,3}[0-9]{3,4}”, it doesn;t return me anything in excel, why is that so ?
@siddharth oh sorry I solved it already, I forgot to remove the “” at the start and end of module code hehe thank you once again!
