How can i check if a web page is loaded successfully

I am uploading a file to a web page but the file size is big and it is taking time to upload ,page is keep on loading while its uploading ,how to know if its completed ???

ya that was a good solution
but @ddpadil in may case i am uploading a file to a web page and it could take 2 to 3 hr of time.
if i follow that approach i have to keep that page open for the same time .
but in my workplace every pc goes to sleep if we will not perform any activity for like 5 ,10 mins
so in that case the test will fail.
and also i want to make it less manual if someone has to sit and wait till its uploaded then it will not be a good automation…
