Please suggest , how big a UiPath workspace can be? Currently my workspace is having almost more than 800 .xaml files, out which only approx. 70 are big in size (600 KB - 2 MB) others are small workflows (Sequences). It is expected to grow in future in terms of files (Small workflows).
Please suggest how it will affect the unattended or attended execution.
From my understanding it really shouldn’t take an effect on the robot. However it will take additional time to upload your project to Orchestrator and incase you need to push it to Production you will need to download from dev / test and upload to production.
I often noticed rather slow down/ and upload speeds for Orchestrator, which is perfectly understandable as there are many using the service. Usually an easy way to keep your projects small are deleting old and not needed screenshot of exceptions (in REF).
2MB is really not a big project, don’t worry too much
The project size is 310 MB and one of the largest file is of 2 MB (like that there are almost 60-70 files). I hope it will not create an issue if size grows more.
It would not effect much…kust make sure you have enough space for the packages and the projects to be downloaded to your local machine…as the packages used in different projects might be different and they take a good amount of space aswell…so if its on c drive make sure you have enough availability of space for them…else bot might get stuck or fail due to less space while running or before starting only.Again a rare situation but can occur as processes grow…
I can assure you that it doesn’t matter. We’re using single files of sizes way beyond your largest file without error or problems. Like @Anil_G said space matters on the drive and for upload/download speed to Orchestrator.
Also it is a good practice to remove ongoing project files from within a studio project and give them a separate folder, maybe on a sharepoint, onedrive, google drive or shared network drive. Like this you can also free up some space on your robots.
