Hi, UiPath documentation says that High Density Robots are supported in Windows server OS versions and Windows 10 Multisession OS. I have seen high density robots working fine in Windows Server OSes and it is straightforward as the robot is installed on a single machine. On the other hand Windows 10 multisession has to be run on the Azure Virtual Desktop set up which has an architecture consisting of a pool of VMs and other components such as FSlogix for profile management. I have not seen any documentation or reference architecture for High Density robot implementation in Azure Virtual Desktop. Has UiPath tested high density robots in Azure Virtual Desktops and if such a test was done, is a reference architecture or any other documentation available to follow as a best practice?
Sorry to bump an old thread. Were you ever able to find any examples or perform some testing on your own using AVD for robot servers?
Currently, we’re struggling to set up a high-density robot on an AVD machine and need assistance.
An error occurred: The user session timed out.
No Steve, we did not find any reference implementation. AVDs are inherently more complex, so we expected issues in AVD robot installations. Also we did not find advantages in using AVDs so we went with Azure VMs.
Hi Hemanth, where is the error occuring? Can you elaborate?
