Help to navigate to DATA SOURCE SETTINGS from menu bar "Data" in Excel and select file to import?

Hi All,

Is there any way we can navigate to data source settings in excel to import text file from source?

Steps:

  • Go to Data on Menu Bar of excel

  • Click Get Data

  • Click Data Source Settings

  • Click Change Source

  • Input desired file path for importing text file ( its linked to CSV file and power query item is updated once its refresh)

  • Click Ok

  • Click Close

And Refresh All excel to execute the power query that is already integrated in excel file.

@RamboRocky,

For reaching to Change Source popup where you have to choose file, you can use Keyboard Shortcuts after that popup opens, you can use UI automation like Click, Type into to enter file details and click.
