I came across this forum question when I was searching for SPOC. Hence answering, hope this helps others.
The validation of the SPOC process refers to the process owners and the subject matter experts. In the phase of requirement gathering we ensure the process info is accurate from SPOC to become aware of the overall perspective of the project.
