Has anyone used Druid with UiPath on a Windows machine? I think I may need a VM or Docker container for Linux

Hi, I am wanting to test out the Druid Chatbot, but I cannot install the free Druid activities or free Druid Integration Framework

How can I resolve this issue? The only thing I can think of is using a VM or Docker container with Linux and installing UiPath on there. However, I have never configured UiPath on Linux before, so I am unsure of the complexities.

Thanks

I tried creating a Cross-platform project but I have the same issue

How is one able to use Druid with UiPath then?

Thanks

@fouried96,

The problem is with the package and your project version compatibility.
The package you are trying to install is not compatible with Windows Compatibility which is latest version so you can’t use this package.

Any workaround?
Try this solution to convert your windows compatibility project to Legacy. Once downgraded, try to install the package.

@ashokkarale thank you. So, is it because Druid has not updated their free activities and Integration Framework for the latest Windows compatibility?
I do not want to downgrade because UiPath are phasing out legacy projects.

Is this the same for Cross-Platform projects, because the Druid packages are not compatible on there either (see my screenshot replies above).

Thanks

@fouried96,

You are right it’s the package developer. We would be able to use it in Windows compatibility only when the developer upgrade the package. Hope they update soon :crossed_fingers:

Yes, same with this one as well. It about the .Net runtime behind the windows compatibility which is not allowing legacy packages into latest code.

Thank you very much! :slight_smile:
