Getting error on activation of community edition

I got a new machine and installed uipath studio community edition on it. when i try to activate i get the above error please help

Thank you, we’ll look into what may be causing the issue and get back.
Meanwhile you can try deleting the folder LicenseInternal from C:\Users\raisa.bragarea\AppData\Local\UiPath or uninstall/ reinstall the software.

In case this works, let us know as well if possible

Hi,
I removed the folder “LicenseInternal”. Uninstalled UI Path. Restarted the system.

I then uninstalled UIPath. Restarted the system. Installed UIPath again. Got the same error while trying to activate.

I then restarted the system. Deleted the folder “LicenseInternal”. Opened UIPath (as soon as i open this the above folder is automatically created). Tried activating but got the same error.

I have attached the logs.

Yes, after checking the logs it does not seem to be an issue with the license file.
It looks like the request its not reaching our server.
Are you behind firewall or using a proxi?
Can you please try accessing https://activate.uipath.com/ and let us know if works or if it re-directs you?

We are looking into this and we need more information.
What we suspect is that you are not connected directly to the internet, you are using a proxy or a captive portal.
We prepared a test file to be executed from Postman - an free utility for HTTP requests.

Studio UiPath Test.postman_collection.json (798 Bytes)

Steps to follow:

You can download Postman from here : Download Postman | Get Started for Free
Install and then open it.
Import the attached json file using the menu, then (File->Import).
After that, go to Collections tab from the left pane, click on the ‘Studio UiPath Test’ entry, then click on the expanded ‘testUiPath’ selection.
On the right side you will notice a test URL. Press the ‘Send’ button.
Please send us a screen capture of postman.

I have followed the procedure as per above. Below is the error snapshot from Postman.

Even when try using the url https://license.uipath.com/api/allocate-license/cloud-rpa/community

in chrome, i get an error “This page is not working”

Thank you, Suga, for your feedback.

From the screenshot above, you cannot access the UiPath server. On the other hand, you were able to access it from your browser.
This is probably because you have a proxy set up in your browser, while in Postman there is no such thing.

To confirm that, could you, please, run the attached Postman requests, and then send us the print screens?

Thanks everyone for helping me on this issue.

I tried the steps provided by ‘MihaiM’ and i got the following error for both the postman collection json files.

As per Raisa’s comments above, i went and checked the proxy settings:

I tried changing the ‘automatic detect settings’ to ON and ‘Use setup script’ off, the save button gets disabled.

Is there any other way to get this working?
