Getting error for Data Service or Data Fabric while trying to use

Getting error for Data Service or Data Fabric while trying to use. Kindly help to suggest in the issue ASAP.

Hi @Swetha_V

Seems like you might not have DF units available.

To check this, go to your Admin page, select the tenant where you are creating a DF entity, and then check the licensing:

Make sure you have at least 1 Data Fabric Unit allocated. That should solve it.

Hi @JarrydScott,

Thanks for your quick response.
I have already allocated the license, pls check the screenshot.

@Swetha_V

Looks like you don’t have Data Fabric license available in Community license.

Where is your error coming from?

I would do the upgrade to Enterprise Trial and you should get some that you can consume.

I see that it says 0 available - you should have more. That “1” that you see is simply showing what it should be, not what is it because of community license.

When i am trying to click on Data Service or Data Fabric and that’s where its giving this issue.

Did you perhaps update that license allocation recently?

Maybe sign out completely and sign back in to Orchestrator and see if it has refreshed.

Hi @Swetha_V

i think theres a detail here that might be it, allocating the units and enabling the service on the tenant are two different things. Your error message actually asks for both, that Data Fabric is enabled on the tenant and that theres units allocated

on my community tenant i see two separate entries under licenses, one is Data Fabric Units with 1 allocated, and another one just called Data Fabric that says the license allows the service to be enabled on any given tenant. So maybe worth going to Admin, open that specific tenant, and check the services list there to see if Data Fabric is actually turned on for it, not just allocated

and just to add, community does come with 1 Data Fabric Unit, so i dont think upgrading to enterprise trial is required for this

hope this helps
