Get validator name/email from DocumentData after document has been validatated in ActionCenter

How do I retrieve validator name or email from DocumentData after the validation?

I’ve been trying to retrieve validator details from DocumentData, but I only found a way to get validator notes in DocumentData.Properties.ExtractionResult. Is it possible to retrieve validator details from this object?

I’m working in unattended cross-platform project.

Hi @tomasz_przemyslaw.wrobel, the validator’s identity isn’t stored on DocumentData. That object is mainly the corrected extraction data. Who completed the validation lives on the Action Center task.

Keep the task ID from Create Document Validation Action. After Wait for Document Validation Action and Resume, check the task output for the completed-by details.

No, you cannot directly retrieve the validator’s name or email from the DocumentData object.

Try these steps:

  • Query Action Center / Orchestrator APIs to get information about the validation action.
  • From the action details, you can identify who completed the validation task and retrieve the validator’s user information.
  • In unattended cross-platform projects, this is the recommended way to track validator details.

So, keep using DocumentData for extraction results and notes, and use Action Center/Orchestrator APIs when you need validator identity information.

You can get the validator information from the ActionObject output of ‘Wait for Document Validation Action and Resume.’

UiPath provides a ‘CompletedByUser’ property in this output, which identifies the user who completed the action.

Use ‘DocumentData’ for the validated extraction results and check ‘CompletedByUser’ for the validator details. You may not need to call the Orchestrator API for this.
