Resolution when intermittent disconnects occur from the email server when using Outlook with a shared Inbox, resulting in a variety of errors (ex. Directory not found, Could not retrieve email, etc.).
- Reinstall Outlook
- Update the mail messages activity package to the latest: About The Mail Activities Pack
- Use the Exchange activities package instead: Get Exchange Mail Messages
- Add a try catch statement to the workflow that whenever Outlook has trouble retrieving emails, it closes outlook and restarts it thus initiating a reconnect with the email server
- Use the UiPath Go! shared inbox component.
