Get Active window doesn't work on the VM

Hi,
I am trying automate a mail merge word template, where I use “Get active window”. But this activity does not work on the VM and fails with the error: “Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.” But when manually logged into the VM and the process is triggered, it works seamlessly. Please help.

Seems like an issue with all UI automation activities on the VM when it is locked. Take screen shot, type into, all of these are failing.

It is being run from the orchestrator.
