Best practice for closing multiple Microsoft Edge instances: Kill Process or iterate through processes?

Hi @nada.bouayyady1, You can use the Kill Process activity and set the AppliesTo property to OnlyCurrentUser. This ensures that only the processes started by the current user are terminated, which is especially helpful when deploying bots to Production environments where multiple users or robots may be running on the same machine. Hi @balkishan Absolutely Yes, Community users cannot access the AI Center as it come under the enterprise license. But there is a way to use AI Center by Community users by enabling the Pro Trail license for 60 days. Use the Pro Trail license which will give you 60 days enterprise license to explore the enterprise products. Then you can access AI Center. Enforce Unique References and idempotency solve different problems at different layers. Enforce Unique References is an Orchestrator queue-level protection. Process Stuck on "Installing Packages" — No Errors, No Logs

Hi @Nahte_16, Could you share what dependencies you have in your project. This is a common issue when you are uploading larger packages in my experience at least or there is a dependency being blocked by that environment. Try cleaning up any unnecessary bloat in your project folder before publishing. If you can share a dump of your event viewer logs around the time you are trying to install the package I can assist further also.

Set a VDI Resolution

Raise a case with Microsoft Support if you cannot solve it internally. They should guide you on enabling and setting the Remote Desktop for your machine and user. If not, use only Login To Console set to Yes. A Console session uses the resolution specified by the default settings of the graphics card on the machine. With VDI’s (such as Citrix, Hyper-V, VMware), the resolution is usually specified by the hypervisor which manages the VDI. Please note that you cannot set a custom resolution.

solved: i faced another error in integrating the excel add-ans i have solved it by following : Studio - Excel Add-in and when i try the UiPath.Excel.[Activities] package:* 3.6.0-preview (which wasnot working) it worked sucessfully so if u face errors like : 1-Indicate the Source Excel file. Unable to Find Document Understanding (DU) API Key or DU License

Hi @Rehan_Ali1 If you are using community, the DU API key actually lives right on Admin → Licenses → Robots & Services, same tab where Computer Vision and Data Fabric keys show up but looking closer, thats probably exactly your issue, Document Understanding only shows an API key there once the service itself is enabled on your tenant. Queue Item remains "In Progress" after stopping Performer during debugging - Object reference on next run

Hi @Abhinay_Reddy1, Yes, this is expected. When you manually stop the process (Stop button in Studio) mid-transaction, REFramework never reaches the “Set Transaction Status” step, so the queue item stays locked as “In Progress” from Orchestrator’s point of view, so nothing tells Orchestrator the transaction ended. When you manually stop the process (Stop button in Studio) mid-transaction, REFramework never reaches the “Set Transaction Status” step, so the queue item stays locked as “In Progress” from Orchestrator’s point of view, so nothing tells Orchestrator the transaction ended. @anand_kumar4 The issue is because .ToList() returns a list, while authorname is a String variable. You can use the following expression instead: authorname = xdoc.Descendants("book"). Where(Function(x) x.Attribute("category").Value = "children"). Select(Function(x) x.Element("author").Value). FirstOrDefault() Make sure authorname is of type String. Hi @Nithya_Sankar I think you wont find it there because unattended isnt a user license at all. Just checked on my own community tenant, when you edit the license allocation for a user the only options are Attended, Citizen Developer and Automation Developer, theres no unattended in that list. Unattended gets consumed by a machine/robot account, not by a person [image] so what i think is actually missing for you is the Attended - Named User, thats the one that enables the local robot for Stu…

Community Edition, rebuilt for today’s developers

This is great @Corina_Gheonea. This will defiantly open bigger userbase. Regarding the point are there any additional terms and conditions to this when the customers will be using it commercially. As per my understanding previously, usage of community license was strictly for learn and build personally. Any user agreement/license wording clearing all things would be really helpful.

@Athos Yes, the For Each File or Folder activity allows you to search within a specific Drive folder. By setting the Folder property and enabling Include subfolders, you can iterate through files and folders in the selected directory and all of its subfolders. If you’re using Application ID and Secret, Advanced Search isn’t available, but Simple Search and folder-based iteration still provide an effective way to locate the required files.

UiPath 26.0.199 July Community Release

Hi @andreea.oprita I havent got the 26.0.199 update yet, but there is an old bug from 2024 thats been reintroduced into 26.0.198 that I suspect might still be in this version. Not sure when it got added but this wasn’t a problem in the LTS version I was using before. Issue with Generate Data Table Activity in UiPath

Hi @YashRPA, I think the issue is with the line breaks in the TXT file. Make sure each record is on a separate line and the columns are separated by commas. Then in Generate Data Table, use Custom Format, select comma as the column separator, and New Line as the row separator. This should help UiPath create the DataTable correctly. Hope this helps!
