No database is needed. LINQ in UiPath works directly on the DataTables you read from Excel. Change accordingly… Example: For Each rowB In dtB.AsEnumerable() Dim checkNo = rowB("Description").ToString If dtA.AsEnumerable(). Asset tab in Orchestrator

Thanks, But this “going over the bridge to fetch water”-procedure is way to time consuming for me instead of just using the file explorer-procedure of having a folder structure. I don’t want to enter a bunch of keywords that I later need to use to filter a view which I could just get with 1-2 clicks. I can appreciate tags/labels in certain setups but unfortunately not for this. It’s just a personal preference I guess.

Can not assign Nothing to Transaction Item (DataRow type) in New Studio Version in REFramework

Hi @Suastrian_Dika In the new UiPath Studio versions, Nothing is treated as System.Object, so it cannot be assigned directly to a DataRow variable. Use a typed-Nothing instead: TransactionItem = DirectCast(Nothing, DataRow) This creates a DataRow-typed null reference and you will not get error.

yes, only on the activity “Use Application/Browser” I tried other package versions but have other issues with the activity if i do that. so I found a workaround: Use a click or type activity and indicate over that. After closing and opening the project again, the “use application/browser” activity looks like its supposed to do. still not how its supposed to work, but at least it works now

Yes, you can configure multiple extractors, once you add multiple extrators like regex extractor, form extractor etc… then click on configure extractor option, which also you will get in data extractor, here you can give confidence, bot will extract as per the configured extractors which you map. if both gives rsults, whichever has highest confidence it will pick it.. when configuring you can set up minimum confidence, if its equal or greater then threshold, it will use it. Unattended Job fails with UiPath.System.Activities assembly error

OK problem found - or at least a fix. you couldn’t see it - we use a custom libary for a custom logging activities. It has also a dependency to System.Activities [but v.23.10.4] Updated it to 25.10.3 - it works. And i removed it for privacy reasons when sharing the json file Still interesting, other processes, with newer System.Activities then 23.10.4 and with the custom libary, have no problems. And i don’t understand why its working with remote debugging and telling …

Reomove Orch queue items

Ideally creating a small sequence to get queue items in in progress and Then immediately a loop with set transaction status would do the job Or if you are ok even if the item is left in in progress. You can create new item by downloading the item and then uploading a json structure to create new.

Which Project Type Should I Use for Python? (.NET 6 vs Windows-Legacy)

Type Into working and not working

Even, I faced the same issue, so I switched to Set Text instead. Just note — in the Save As window there are usually two text fields, so make sure you target the inner one when using Set Text. You can also use Set to Clipboard, then Click the filename box, then Paste using CTRL+V

Sharepoint - update list Items

I am using UipathTeam.SharePoint.Activities (Vers. 2.0.2) Rhe problem was in the listname. There was a country-specific letter which leads to this error. I don’t understand how ‘get List Items’ works and ‘update List Item’ not. Both used the same listname. After creation of a new sharePoint-page with another name it works fine. Thanks for your help

My SQL DB not getting connect

If this is a Windows type project, then it requires the 64bit drivers to work I believe. [The image displays the ODBC Data Source Administrator window, highlighting a system data source using the MySQL ODBC 8.2 ANSI Driver on a 64-bit platform.] Otherwise, you’ll have to install the 64bit drivers. How to Add Queue item to Reframework

Hi, @Mohammed_Shabaz Put the Add Queue Item part in the Init state, inside the “If Config is Nothing” block, as a separate workflow you invoke from there. This way the bot loads items into the queue only once at the start (or when Init runs again after a system exception) and it will not create duplicate items for every transaction.

You are correct there–> Add queue item should not be part of initallapplications as everytime system exception occurs, it will try to re-add the queue item.. For re-framework → you should have add queue item workflow created under section “if config is nothing”, which means items will be added only initially when process starts.

Orchestrator api : 403 while adding queue item

I added the x-ui-path-organizationUnitId header and that finally fixed my 403 forbidden error so that part is working now. But right after solving that. i ran into a new issue. Orchestrator now says the folder ID is invalid or doesnt match the process, even though i am using the same folder where my queues and process exist.

New status must be New

that error basically means the queue items is still holding onto its old life you have to clone the item into a new transactions < POST /queues/{queueId)}/ items { SpecificContent":{…}, “Reference”: “Retry-Original” } UiPath doesn’t revive old items it creates new ones.

Production Unattended mode issue while running the jobs

Orchestrator Manager Single Tenant Error

After doing some more debugging I found what the issue was. There was an automatically created sub-folder called “Debug_Solution” under the “My Workspace” folder that seems to not be treated the same by the API request and was causing the failures. I debugged and ignored the errors and it eventually ran completely through getting all the credential assets I needed. I didn’t need this folder so I deleted the folder and ran again and it ran perfectly. I had no idea where this folder came from …

IXP - Sequence of Field Groups - Impact on Action Centre

In IXP there is currently no option to change the sequence of Field Groups. The system sorts them alphabetically in Manage Taxonomy and displays them in Action Center the same way. Field Groups cannot be renamed once created, and there is no built-in ordering feature. The commonly used workaround is to create new Field Groups with name prefixes such as A_, B_, C_ to control the display order, even though it is not ideal.

Hi @jollie_ng In the wait for download activity, there is an option called Ignore Files. In that give these extensions “tmp,dwn”. Then it will avoid the temporary and catch files. Hope it helps!!

Append Range Not Writing Headers, Write Range Overwrites Existing Data – How to Fix..?

Append Range does NOT support writing headers, so you are not getting headers. It only appends data rows. [image] To append data with headers, first verify whether the sheet is empty. If it’s empty, use Write Range with AddHeaders = True. If it already has data, identify the last used row and write the new data starting from the next row. This ensures the header is written only once, and all subsequent data is appended without overwriting.

Yes, Excel can be automated without an Excel license by using only Workbook activities, as they work directly on .xlsx files. Activities that use Excel Application require Excel to be installed and activated.

Excel Error: "Copy/Paste Range: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC" and " "message": "Save Excel File As: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800AC47"

Hi @Rebeca_Alguacil, This happens due to Excel timing and COM sync issues. Even though the Copy/Paste activity completes, Excel is still processing when the next one starts, which causes the error. Add a short Delay between consecutive copy/paste actions, verify the ranges are valid and not overlapping, or replace multiple copy/paste steps with a single Read Range and Write Range. This is not a package issue but an Excel synchronization problem. Thanks

What is the difference between Citrix Automation and VDI Automation?

Hi @Rahul_Pal1, Citrix automation is specific to applications published through Citrix, where UiPath interacts with the remote UI using image, text, or computer vision because selectors are usually not available. VDI automation is a broader term that covers automating any virtual desktop environment such as Citrix, VMware, RDP, or Horizon. Hi @Ayush_Singh1 , To work with Data Fabric (Data Service) data in UiPath Studio, you need to install the UiPath.DataService.Activities package. This package provides activities to create, read, update, delete, and query entities stored in Data Fabric. After installing it, connect Studio to the same UiPath Cloud organization and tenant where Data Fabric is enabled.

Hi @Vikas_Pandey, This error usually happens because the stored Power App connection token has expired or become invalid. To fix it, go to Orchestrator and open the Integration Service or Connections page, find the Power Apps / Power Platform Blob connection, and reauthenticate it by signing in again with the correct Microsoft account. Hi @Satish_Yadav1, The only reliable approach is to stop relying on full selectors. Use minimal, stable attributes like automationId, name, or innerText and remove dynamic ones completely. Combine this with proper anchors or container-based activities instead of deep UI trees. Always add explicit waits and retry scopes, and validate selectors on the actual production machine, not just locally. Can't create my cloud organization

Hi @Jou , First, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt the registration again. If that doesn’t work, switch to a different browser or use an incognito window to rule out any extension conflicts. Also, check your email inbox including spam folder. Sometimes the organization gets created successfully despite the error message appearing, and you’ll receive a confirmation email from UiPath. Thanks &cheers

Hi @sahil.mangroliya, This is common in production. Best practice is to avoid working directly on a shared Excel. Either copy the file to a temp location and work on the copy, or write output to a new versioned file. If the same file must be updated, check if it is locked and implement a wait-and-retry loop with a max timeout. This way the process handles file locks gracefully instead of failing. Coded Workflow Built-in Services, Best Practices Question

Hi, @edevries Good catch on that note in the docs. Log() and services.OutputLoggerService.Log() end up doing the same thing today, but UiPath is standardizing everything around the ICodedWorkflowServices services entry point. Using the service version makes the dependency explicit, plays nicely with the DI container nd gives UiPath room to extend or swap logging behavior later without changing your code. Copy file activity failing because: Copy File: The process cannot access the file ******* because it is being used by another process

Make sure the Copy File runs before any Excel Process Scope or Excel activity touches that file. Verify that source and destination paths are different and not pointing to the same file Note :Also check that OneDrive/antivirus is not syncing the folder and locking the file. copy the template to a new file name and only open the copied file in Excel.
