How to read an excel file?

Hi @John_Mark You can use the Read range workbook activity to read the excel and store in a datatable. Or else If you want to use the excel activities you can use the Read Excel. For using this activity you have to encapsulate this activity with use excel file activity. Hope it helps!!

Hi @A_Learner So, whenever an exception is thrown it throws an error and the error is caught in the immediate catch, if you wanna propogate the error upwards you need to use a Rethrow Activity. Wherever your first catch is inside that catch block use a rethrow activity.

@susHI_Bae, Root cause of the error is, your PdfName variable value have special character which is dividing the single string in two lines. This string File Explorer not accepting as a valid name. Hi There, I have a output excel with 10 columns and also with 2 empty columns with headers for the report. At the end of each row transaction i need to update the output excel with the process status and output in those output columns. パブリッシュしたnupkgファイルはUiPath Assistant等での実行時に、まず初回実行時に C:\Users\[アカウント名]\.nuget\pacakges 以下に展開されます。そこに対象の画像ファイルも含まれるのでそれを差し替えれば良いという意味です。 なお上記の絶対パスを知らなくても、カレントフォルダが上記の展開したプロジェクトフォルダになりますので、相対パスで指定すれば良いです。 base64の画像を表示する当該ページのワークフローですが、１つの画像をボタン押さずに表示させる場合でも同様にできるものかわかりますでしょうか。 フォーム表示後に動的に画像を変化させる例ですので、最初から同じ画像を表示させるので良いのであれば、画像ファイル差し替えの方が簡単と思います。

Hi @pabaleloh After saving the Outlook Attachment. You can check the extension by Path.GetExtension(AttachmentFilePath) If the file extension is .txt, read the text data using Read Text File activity and then write this data into an Excel file using Write Range activity. Getting "Max # of retries" for an Orchestrator Queue from Studio

I built my own framework because I can’t stand REF, and in my template I get the retry setting (true/false) and max retries using Orchestrator HTTP Request. Then when a transaction fails I look at the RetryNo property. Okay @A_Learner No Problem you can select Up or down in the Direction dropdown. But in the Scroll to element indicate the Ui element where you want to scroll. It will scroll up if it was in the down of the page, it scroll down if it was in the top of the page. But it will scroll up or down untill the Ui element appears to the bot. Issues with Element Selectors in UiPath Studio - Need Guidance

@theidioms , Don’t depend on only ID’s of the selectors. Try finding more constant selectors like AAname, Inner text, visible text etc. You can check all peroperties and build striong, reliable selector using Ui Explorer. Anchor Base is also depends on the selectors you are selecting for it. Try to be as precise as possible and constant values. Simple examples would be like below: Using wildcards: Suppose if your web browser title changes as per transaction number and the length of that…

Hi @A_Learner This is not error rather a warning. For ensuring quality of code does not degrade it advances/follow some pre defined best practices /rules, if these rules are not followed, UiPath Analyzer shows these messages. Every message is defined by a code. In your case it is ` UI-DBP-006 Container Usage Top level selector used outside scoped containers ` This means that you have used consecutive activities in your automation that have same top level selector, instead of doing that y…

Provisioning Unattended Runtimes

Hey @Parvathy, Thank you but I have referred to the same video setting up the unattended robot provision and machine licenses. We figured out the problem was the processes being published to a different machine wasn’t working. So, we setup a whole new account with a new license and it worked. Thanks and Regards :D, Charan.

How to perform Exception handling without wasting extra time?

@Sami_Rajput, I assume you will be using click activity to handle that intermittent popup. Enable Continue on error and reduce the Timeout to suitable time in seconds. This will ensure that popup will be clicked if appeared, if not it will continue further activities. No need to use Check App State. [image] Thanks, Ashok

Hi @rmorgan , Could you maybe try with the below Expression : rowIndex = DT.Rows.IndexOf(DT.AsEnumerable.Where(Function(x)x("Value").ToString.ToLower.equals("yes")).Last) Here, rowIndex is of the type Integer and DT is your Datatable variable, assuming Excel sheet is already being read into Datatable Let us know if this does not work.
