Hi all,

I wanted to know In DU template when we use form extractor activity in Extract xaml do we need to use trainer in TrainExtractor xml inside Train Extractors Scope activity?

generally in the usage of Form Extractor activity within the Extract XAML, it is generally not necessary to use the Trainer in the Train Extractor activity inside the Train Extractors Scope if you are using a pre-trained extractor or a standard model.
But when the Form Extractor is not accurately capturing the data you need, or if you want to adapt it to specific layouts and fields that are unique to your documents, then using the Trainer in the Train Extractors Scope is advisable.

There is no training for form extractor…

So no need to use it

Hi @Nisha_K21 , In the UiPath DU process, only the Machine Learning Extractor supports the training process among the extractor methods. Other extraction methods, including the Form Extractor, do not support training, so there is no need to perform a training process for the Form Extractor.
