Form Extractor template mystery Error

I am trying to learn Form Extractor and have a bunch of invoices all of the exact same layout. But when I try to set up a template I just get this mystery message:

This error is completely useless. What do I do now?

On other threads with this error, the suggested solution is to not use Form Extractor. Yeah, but what good is it then?

Can anybody help?

I tried all 5 invoices from the tutorial with the same mystery error. They are invoice pdfs from Mukesh’s site. Videos Download – Mukesh Kala from
“Form Extractor Practice Files”

Is there any way to find out more about this error?

Try making ocr mandate…also…is this happening only for these templates or for any file you use?

What do you mean “ocr mandate”? And yes, it errors no matter what pdf I try.

Apply ocr on pdf at the bottom…its auto …change it

Also if its occuring for all…may be there might be a package issue try to change versions and check

Hi @Terry_Marr,

To resolve this issue:

  1. Check Endpoint and API Key
    Ensure your endpoint and API key are correct. Incorrect details can cause processing errors.
  2. Update the IntelligentOCR Package
    Go to Manage Packages and update the IntelligentOCR package to version 6.19.7.
  3. Restart UiPath Studio
    After updating, close and reopen UiPath Studio to apply the changes.

If the issue persists, double-check your documents and OCR settings.

UPDATE: I downgraded the IntelligentOCR package to 6.21.1-preview and this issue went away, along with some others.

Highly frustrating. I hope the technical team is working on this.
