Foreground process requires you to have an unattended robot with credentials defined

Issue Description

When attempting to run a process in UiPath Assistant Web, the following error message appears:

"Foreground process requires you to have an unattended robot with credentials defined."

Root Cause

This issue occurs when the user account running the process does not have robot credentials properly configured in Orchestrator,

Resolution

1. Verify User Account Configuration

Ensure that the same user is signed in to both:

• • Assistant Web
  • UiPath Assistant (desktop)

2. Configure Robot Credentials
3. 1. Navigate to your Orchestrator.
   2. Go to Admin → Manage Access →Access Rules → Users
   3. Locate the user account that you use to sign in to the Assistant Web.
   4. Click on Edit next to the user.
   5. Enable Enterprise Robot Setup.
   6. Configure the user with the custom Windows credentials of the robot that will execute the automation.
